Patient Information

  • Procedure: CIT (Cole FUE)
  • Number of Grafts: 3007
  • Norwood Scale: Type 5A

When our patient from North Wales UK first noticed he was losing hair back in 2004, he paid a visit to his family doctor and was advised to treat his hair loss with minoxidil. He is one of those rare individuals who reacted with inflammation, swelling, and pain. Our patient was later employed in South Korea and took advantage of the cosmetic surgery industry there and had strip surgery. He told me that he was not happy with the experience or the results. Most of the grafts from the strip surgery were placed on the hairline in a haphazard fashion. Angles were wrong and the result was a total mess. Our patient paid for more grafts than he received which was in a way, a blessing in disguise. Dr. Cole removed most of those grafts.

Our patient is here visiting us in the US about a year after his final hair restoration surgery with Dr. Cole. Yesterday (08-01-2013), we took some photos of his 3007-graft result. Our patient has exceptionally dense as well as thick caliber donor hair.
