The following patient had 1,743 grafts placed into the crown and 2,373 grafts placed into the hairline. He combined his procedure with CRP, Acell, and PRF. His donor area before the hair transplant had 15,610 total follicular units. His evaluation 14 months after his initial procedure showed a total of 14,512 follicular units. Though 4,116 grafts were harvested, his donor regeneration preserved 3,018 grafts. This translates to an 8% difference from where he started to where he is today. Also, it is important to note that the patient can wear his hair down to a skin fade without any issues of scarring.
