FIT, CIT,FUE with strong Curly Hair?

Postby curly » Fri Feb 08, 2008 3:53 pm

I heard of problems with extracting afro american hair with this method.

I have strong curly hair nearly like shaggy, is it a problem to extract them without damage?

Thanks for answer! :D

CIT on Curlier hair

Postby CITness » Fri Feb 08, 2008 7:37 pm

Hi,

We can transplant curlier hair at a lower pace as it requires more time to extract. The only issue with extracting curlier hair is following the unknown direction of the follicle under the surface layer of skin. This in itself is not a problem but this delay will require the patients to be at our clinic for an extended period of time to complete the work. Our transection rate is extremely low so very little damage to the hairs is done as our doctor has the most experience with the general method of FUE inside of the United States. Please give us a call if you have any further questions.

Regards,

FITness
