WNT Act: Forhair's New, Patented Cell-activator Hair Spray

(34 votes)

WNT Act is an exciting new hair restoration treatment we believe excellent for post-op. Equally effectual for both sexes, WNT Act is the first product ever to energize and signal the WNT pathways on a genetic level. Such pathways, in turn, are the very first to initiate follicular generation and growth. Results are great. After 60 days patients typically have a 7% increase in hair density and a 10% increase in hair diameter.

The treatment is different than Propecia or Rogaine but is just as effective. Using WNT Act, therefore, creates added thickness and health in conjunction with these two treatments. Hair retention is also a benefit of WNT Act: balding stops and thinning areas begin regrowing.

The Science Behind WNT Act

WNT pathways are essential for hair follicle growth and generation. Additionally, WNT is vital for follicles to further grow and remain healthy. People with less WNT pathway activity have thinning or balding spots. This is because of the DKK1 androgen, WNT's prime inhibitor.

According to research, methyl vanillate activates WNT messengers. Methyl vanillate is also an all natural ingredient without any known side effects. Combining this superior ingredient with trehalose, a protein stabilizer, enables users of WNT Act to better apply the spray.

WNT increase by 32% after 60 days' use of WNT Act. Just as significant, there is a 21% decrease in DKK1. The results speak for themselves: patients achieve 10% increase in hair diameter and a 7% increase in hair density. Quite impressive, as no negative effects have been reported.

WNT Act works separate from Rogaine or Propecia. This means that using this WNT Act increases density in addition to the benefits of whatever other hair treatments you use. It is now possible to increase hair density by 20%+ via treatments alone.

Different products work in individual ways. WNT-act upregulates the hair growth stimulating WNT pathway and down regulates hair loss promotion by the DKK-1 pathway. Finasteride decreases the production of DHT. The action of Minoxidil is unclear but thought to stimulate the mitochondria. The use of different products, that act by differing mechanisms, produces and additive effect. So, yes, one can use minoxidil and this is suggested. Oral minoxidil seems to work better than topical minoxidil in women according to Rodney Sinclair.

Thank you. Approximately, what percentage of people tested have seen regrowth?

I am quoting from a study made in Italy: "Consequently, 80% of the study patients who were treated with Deltacrin WNT showed improvements at 6 months as compared with the baseline evaluation"

Are new hair growing in bald skin?

This comment was minimized by the moderator on the site

It won't regrow hair if that what you meant, but increase hair count. it works only on existing hair or hair in miniaturization process, perfect for patients with thinning hair or that undergo hair transplantation surgery.

There is technically hair in bald scalp, though, just very thin and miniaturized. It depends on if the body remembers the programming of such hair to grow as it used to.
Or say it stimulates growth wherevere there is hair regardless of their genetic programming, for example a zone of your body grows peach fuzz and this thickens and elongates peachfuzz despite our body is programmed for it to grow thin.
It's true that balding is programming, to an extent, and genetic to a very big extent, but if it's just hair in the scalp having an opposite reaction to Dht to that of body hair, which grows because of it, why it can start in your 50's as well as in your teens or twenty?
Also, body hair follicles get usually sensitized *only* mostly till they enlarged to the extend they were programmed to, similarly to the adam apple, vocal folds etc, they don't continue expanding indefinitely and they desensitivize once that happened, why would scalp hair instead not only, in most case increase sensitivity with age and keep going until it thins to vellus or, in some cases even destroy the velluses?
I'm going to mention though, it's also not so clear cut with body hair and many people, mostly men, but not all of them, witness a possible further androgenization with age despite T slowly going down, with more body hair growing or at least longer and baldness especially that with later onsed is possibly linked partially to this phenomenon.

Hi, can i use wnt after i roll my scalp with derma roller? 0.5 size.

This comment was minimized by the moderator on the site

Sorry for the late reply, There is no conclusive evidence that says it will work better with derma roller, but theoretically it should improve results.

This comment was minimized by the moderator on the site

As i have mentioned before in one of the comments, WNT Act and Deltacrin WNT are basically the same product, both are the same product in different countries like rogain and regain for example.
We recommend to use every day, i don't see anywhere else were it says every other day...can you show me?

Hi,

"RECOMMENDED FREQUENCY OF USE
Every other day"

From the link that i put here.

This comment was minimized by the moderator on the site

You can choose to spray every other day but we recommend to spray it every day for best results. You wouldn't take Rogaine every other day. In fact it's even better if you use it twice a day.

This comment was minimized by the moderator on the site

Yes, patients used 2ml during the trial so any patient would spray 2ml of WNT-ACT every day

Is this irritating or calming on the scalp as I see there is propylene glycol listed as an ingredient

This comment was minimized by the moderator on the site

Hi Beverly, the product is certainly not irritating. I have been using and never had any issues, Actually I kind of like the feel of it on my head
We didn't hear a single complaint from any patient or customer who uses the WNT Act, no one ever reported about any irritation.

I have been using this product for about 2 weeks. I have quite a bit of hair and it is not easy to get the product onto the scalp. I seem to be going through the bottle pretty fast. The usage instructions are simply "spray abundantly on the hair". It is a relatively expensive product and it would be nice to get a little more direction on how to best use the product effectively. Thanks!

I follow Dr Cole's office instructions. I spray 5 times, each time I try to target a different thinning area on my scalp and then i rub it into the skin. It's enough to cover everything, I find it a preaty easy and quick process. I will also advise you to spray a little closer to the hair, do it in the evening after a shower...leave it to dry and go to sleep.

Hi steve,
It has been shown that microneedling and wounding promotes WNT in the scalp.
Can you ask Dr. Cole whether in his opinion it would be more effective to use this product after wounding with a 1.5 mm roller.
thank you.

The objective is to keep hair in the growing phase. This is best performed through continuous stimulation of anagen through a variety of means. WNT upregulation induces follicles to grow. We know that hairs cycle on and off through anagen and telogen. Each hair seems to have a finite number of times the follicle can be turned back on after being turned off. Miniaturization and loss occur in a single cycle. Therefore, the rationale today is to keep the hairs in the growing cycle as long as possible and limit the number of resting cycles. The prolongation of anagen can prolong the life of the long terminal hair. This is what we are trying to do. I would use the WNT-act and combine this with micro needling.

Here is Dr. Cole's reply to the coloring question:
"Yes, there is no interaction nor a problem. One does not want to dilute the product by having the hair washed immediately after application. It is better to apply the product to dry hair and let the product work for a day prior to dilution. Most hair coloring schemes involve application followed by washing. After drying the hair, you can apply the WNT-Act. However, missing a day is not going to kill you. The primary goal is to continue application so that the hair stays in the growing or anagen phase. One does not want the hair to enter the telogen or resting phase where follicles are prone to miniaturize in one cycle. The goal is to keep the growing phase going as long as possible and prevent the resting phase for as long as possible. This is the primary goal of preventing hair loss. Hairs are like cats. They have only so many lives. Each time a hair enters the resting phase, the follicle uses up one life. Once a follicle reaches the critical number of lives, nothing can bring that follicle back. The function of WNT-Act is to increase the growing phase of each follicle as long as possible. Prolongation of the growing cycle will improve the lifespan of each healthy, mature hair follicle as long as possible. Failure to follow this daily application will speed up the life cycle of each follicle and lead to premature thinning and hair loss that could be delayed. "

I recently bought this product, and one of my biggest complaints is the smell. It leaves a lingering cheap perfume smell in my hair after I apply it. Any chance you can sell an unscented version in the future? I look forward to seeing the results in the few months, but it's difficult to see myself using this in the long-term solely because of the lingering scent.

Dr Cole, in your opinion how soon after getting a hair transplant, can i use the WNT-ACT? Had the strip method done, purchased your product, just don't know when to start using it, Thanks

Hello,l
I've been using WNT Act for about 2 months and have noticed that my hair has thinned. Is shedding common in the beginning?
Thanks

This comment was minimized by the moderator on the site

How old are you? it might be that your hair loss is now progressing. To stop this progress I recommend combining Propecia

Comment was last edited about 1 month ago by Forhair Forhair
This comment was minimized by the moderator on the site

I was wondering if there are instances where there might be an initial shredding phase, like with Rogaine

This comment was minimized by the moderator on the site

Shedding is possible anytime after you begin to use a product that stimulates anagen. The shedding will only be of resting hair follicles. The hair follicles that are actively growing will not shed. Shedding is a good sign when it occurs because shedding indicates you are responding well to the product.

Regards,

Dr. Cole
