This is a result of topical finasteride alone. The patient is 25 years old. His hair loss was so advanced at such a young age that a hair transplant was not a good idea unless we found something to stabilize future loss. Our patient came in for a hair check after 116 days of religious daily topical use. There was a noticeable improvement in his hair check numbers as well as a visual result. This is an excellent example of the importance of medical therapy, especially for young patients with advanced degrees of hair loss.
