This 42-year-old patient came to Dr. Cole at Forhair Clinic in 2005 seeking repair work. He had previously undergone hair transplant in the 1980’s and 1990’s to treat his hair loss. The transplant left him with a very “pluggy” look. The patient’s goal was to obtain a more natural appearance and get rid of his current “pluggy” hairstyle. This patient’s case required drastic repair work. In addition, he had limited donor hair due to his previous transplants.
The patient opted for a full day’s worth of repair work in addition to a couple of small repair sessions to achieve his ultimate goal. Repair work involves dividing larger (4 to 6 hair) follicular units and them placing them back into the original donor area.
While this can be a lengthy procedure, we see from this patient’s results the benefits are huge. This patient could not have been happier with his result and loves his new, natural appearance.
