Who is a good candidate for CIT hair transplant?

How do I know if I am a good candidate for hair transplant surgery? What determines who is a candidate for the different procedures and who it not?

The only way to know for sure is to have a consultation with a hair restoration surgeon. Generally, those who are very young (in their teens or early twenties) are not good candidates because it is difficult to predict how far their hair loss will progress. Other factors that a physician may consider in deciding whether you are a good candidate include donor supply, the extent of your current hair loss, family history of hair loss, personal hair characteristics and whether or not you have realistic expectations.

Your age, your current NW scale along with what you have left to work with, caliber, curliness of the hair and color of your hair. This is just some of the factors that the hair transplant surgeon takes into consideration.
