I am a 26m and my hairline is slightly uneven and receded. The recession I do have though does not fit my facial shape as I have somewhat of a longer type face and the temporal recession exaggerates that look. Right now you can sort of see a V type shape when my hair is combed back. I do not expect to get a totally straight hairline, but widen that v so that it covers more area of my temples and from a profile shot not look so receded. I will say looking back at pictures from when I was 10-12, there was always some recession there...just not as much. I am posting with a crappy camera so the quality isn’t that great but you can get an idea of what I am talking about.
My dad had pretty much the same high hairline at 25 that he does now. His dad had hair loss mostly in his late 50's-60s. Up until 50 though he was pretty much a George H.W. Bush type hair type. On my moms side there is no MPB but my grandfather has thinning which is probably to blame from the different medications he’s taking.
I've studied a lot on this and have spent the good part of 2 years doing research on the internet etc always following new developments such as BHT and the long awaited and still waiting HM. Currently I take propecia every day as I have for a year and use nizoral once in a while.
