Forhair exceptional Healing from FIT-1 week post-op!

Postby forhair » Tue Oct 18, 2005 6:27 pm

Hi Guys, It's been 10 days since my last FIT procedure that can be reviewed here: I'm in the chair for another FIT session (Forhair).
My healing compared to my last 2 sessions is incredible!
After hearing so many success stories about the "Hair Cycle post surgery products" from patients i decided to test it and the results are excellent.
In my previous sessions i had redness in the recipienting area for about 1.5 months and also in the donor...this time after 1 week of using the post surgical gel for my donor and the Biotin spray for the recipient area the scalp is clean like a mirror and my grafts didn't shed at all!, while in my previous sessions i had shedding in the first 12 days...
Let the pictures tell the story:)

The first photo is from only one week post-op, and the second is from today after i buzzed my hair to give it a nice even hair cut. (3 days after)

ForHair - that looks awesome. you can hardly tell anything was done. looks kinda weird because you hair was shaved down in strips though. do you think having that many grafts taken out in such small shaved strips would still produce a strip scar type result (empty linear areas)? hey also did you receive my emails from last week? I didn't receive any bounced messages or any type response back from you - wasn't sure if they got flagged as spam or something else happened. anyways, congrats man. your hairline is going to be amazing...

For hair, excellent healing. Are these 'hair cycle products' available to the general public and what is their base? Is it copper?

Hair Cycle ingredients for hair loss

Are these 'hair cycle products' available to the general public

We currently give them to our patients for post surgical treatment. You can call the office and talk to michelle to get more information...i believe she will be able to ship it to you from the office.

We don't use the copper inside haircycle, i tried products with it and didn't noticed any improvement, also other patients reported the same luck of success with copper papdite products. This is one of the reasons we start search and develop a new all natural product that can accalerate the healing time and improve the donor area after hair restoration. Hair Cycle can definitely use to fight hair loss and keep a healthy hair, but is not a replacement for Propecia...rather a shampoo and conditioner that can be used with Propecia and Avodart as a combination to fight hair loss.
Hair Cycle contain Antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, anagen stimulators, nitric oxide, DHT inhibitors including "saw Palmento" (topical inhibitors of 5-Alpha-reductase), Biotin and more...
It is also contain ingredients like Aloa Vera Gel, Rosemary, Vitamin K, Jojoba oil, Tea tree, DL-Panthenol(Vitamin B-5), Betain and more

Strip Harvesting?

Postby Guest » Thu Nov 03, 2005 4:46 pm

I can almost hardly see were the grafts were harvested from and the healing looks great for three weeks!

I do notice slightly, two linear strips (thinned out)were it looks to be were the grafts were harvested from. I thought in a FIT procedure the grafts were randomly harvested all over the entire donor area and not just harvested specificly into a linear strip. I thought the whole point of fit is to give a natural thining throughout the entire donor area and not just in one specific area giving more noticable scarring. I don't know your whole history or what exactly you have had done, I was just making an observation and curious why your grafts were harvested like that.

Thanks.

FIT_CONCEALMENT?

I do understand the reasoning for the patch technique but like I said, the whole point of FIT is not to have any noticable scarring (stip scar) on the back of your head. I myself would not like to have two thick stips thinned out in the back of my head, I think it defeats FIT's purpose, and that is concealment. If I were to have a procedure done It would have to be shaven down and randomly plucked grafts, to give an even looking affect; so if I were to prefer to have a shaven look (in the summer time) you couldn't notice anything. Is that even possible with FIT and if so why wouldn't everyone do that?

The whole point im getting at is if worse comes to worse and you had to shave your head to avoid the "hideous combover" wouldn't everyone want to look natural in the donor area? I know I do and maybe that is why im so hesitant.

Its Just a thought.....

I don't understand what your saying...this shaved patches has been disappear after 2 weeks when my hair become longer. there is no evidence of the procedure whats or ever.
How do you refer to the patches as strip or something permanent?

I understand once your hair grows out it's undetectable.

Im just saying if worse comes to worse and you had to shave your head or if your someone who likes wearing a short hair style (1 clipper), wouldn't the harvested strips be noticable?

It is just a different in lenth between my hair and the shaved patch...when the both will be in the same lenth it will look the same...i still don't understand.

Forhair,

About how many grafts have you had place in the crown area. I have seen some older pics and did notice thinning in the area but don't see much in your newer pics.

Thanks
