FIT Results on the crown, 1900 FIT grafts with Cole

Postby forhair » Mon Oct 17, 2005 5:09 pm

Attached are photos of a crown swirl reconstruction performed at IHTI in February of 2005.
Dr. Cole utilized 1,900 FIT grafts for this procedure and these photos represent 8 months of progress.
The patient returned to our office last week for a 500 graft touch up.
The crown is typically the most difficult area of the scalp on which to achieve coverage.
As you can see, unfortunately the patient had a very bad haircut and shaved his hair in a irregular way showing difference in the
crown area. This effect a little bit on the presentation of the results in terms of the photos.
If he had a uniform haircut the results where looking even more impressing.
Either way he got some good growth out of this single session and he is very happy.

Looks great for 1900 FIT! Can I ask where the 500 touch up were placed as well as any plan to address the front? Age of patient please. All salp hair or were any BHT used? Pics of the donor site would be helpfu if that was a possibility. Thanks!

1900 fit, all scalp, no BHT
500 fit grafts were used because the patient lost more natural hair. That is, the "bald spot" got bigger.

The patient is in his early 30's. No pics of the donor, sorry.

Looks great !! especially at 8 months

The head hair grafts will thicken up more for sure in what is already a good result.

Lucky guy as that crown looked sad before it got planted

nice work, looks very natural as if the patient never had any loss at the crown.

I am amazed how IHTI managed to match the density on the transplants to blend in and match the outside density of the crown so naturally.

In other words: GREAT WORK!

Thank you Cavdo,
The results could even look more impressing if the patient didn't shaved his hair himself just before the surgery...you can tell the difference in the hair length from the bad haircut.

Great Results indeed...
