Hair transplant repair help needed

Postby NeedHelp » Fri Oct 07, 2005 4:43 am

Hi there,

I'm seeking options to repair a bad hair transplant I had done approximately one year ago of 400 mini/micros in the frontal third of my scalp. Basically I wish I had never got it done, its been the bane of my existance ever since - its changed my life in all aspects for the worse and I need to sort it out.

The grafts are too pluggy looking, are placed in the wrong direction and ultimately are placed too low. I would say there is approx 100-150 grafts I would like to remove along with a further conservative Ht (like yours forhair!) to give me slight coverage but the ability to shave my head if ultimately required (I believe you did this for a patient using FUE who just wished to return to a balding look?). Also I would be looking to excise the scar at the back to improve its appearance then maybe future FUE to assist in its camoflauge.

Ultimately I want to return to a normal appearance, I'm a 24 year old guy who's beginning to realise his life might never be the same again.

If I was to book a procedure with yourself, say over 2 days for FUE could the graft removal (and as I understand it suturing of the sites where the grafts be removed) be included at the expense of achieving bigger graft counts on these two days. Or is this charged completely seperate. As I said I'm essentially a young kid who doesn't have much money to spare after wasting so much already trying to sort this out. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

NeedHelp - Your in the right place if you want any type of work done. I have heard some outstanding stories about Cole and his repair methods. I'm going to let some of the more experienced posters give you the specifics, but i think it would be a good idea if you posted some pics or utilize the on-line consultation IHTI offers. Could I ask who the doctor was with your first HT. Thanks

Thanks Bradley, the clinic was a dodger one in London UK - nobel clinic. Biggest mistake of my life. I've already consulted with Dr Cole, just waiting to hear back from them again - had a long convo with ^^^ which was positive but I'll just have to see. Between Dr Cole and Dr Wolf I think.....both very well respected so I'll just have to see. Price is a mjor issue as well, as I say I will see but the sooner I can get this sorted the better.
