MHR Said that FIT can damage existing hairs

All things being equal, FIT really is the more precise technique. With Strip their is exision, slivering, and dissection in order to get grafts. These steps involve multiple people with significant time out of body for the grafts. The exision with the scalpel can cause many graft transecntions. With FIT there is precise extraction and sometimes minor trimming. That's it. Grafts are cherry picked and time out of body is minimal.

I do not discourage Strip if the patient is a good candidate and they are considering coming here or another great strip clinic. I do disagree that FIT damages the donor area more than Strip though.

Make sense, Chewy?

FIT is a very difficult technique in hands of bad surgeons. They don't have rigth tools to perform the procedure and in state of training themselves , they condemn the technique.Strip procedure is easy for the physician ;you just take out the tissue and the rest of the team deal with it. And it increase the risk of transection because multiple steps are involved and the time out of the body is bigger than FIT.
Precision is a matter of the surgeon, the seriousness of the surgeon. We were among the best team in strip procedure averaging a transection rate of 2% in our cases. With the protocole and retro control that we applied to our new technique FIT,we now averaging a transection rate of 2 to 3 % which is very competitive to those of strip procedure at the excision time. They don't take in account the other steps like slivering, dissection of grafts made by assistants which could increase the T rate.Nobody did that evaluation yet because we are focusing on Surgeon task.In FIT we eliminate all the other steps and our T rate is more accurate.
At the European conference last May , I gave a speech about our study results and we will make it available sooner.I told them that to be successfull in FIT as we are , they need to be rigorous and follow a certain protocole so the results stayed consistent. Then your patient could benefit for all the advantages of this technique (flexibility in hair styling, no visible scar with naked eye , possibility of repair case , possibility of body hair transplant,...).

Destruction of the donor area is correlate to the transection rate.If you are a busher , you will destroy patient donor area .We have seen patient with big scars, double or triple scars in the donor area and today they are not anymore candidate for hair transplant.FIT doesn't do that.In state , it came to give hope to those patient because we can harvest in area where you can't take a strip , we can repair them by grafting those scars with scalp and or body hairs. What technique in your opinion increase the donor capacity?

We were best in strip because we do care about patients;and we are doing very good with FIT because we care about our patients. We are still working to improve our technique(hair farming is the last genious idea) and God will help us because we care about people.

i wonder why they say this when they themselves havnt done it..

oh yeah, thats the reason, cause they dont do it and if they said something positive about it they would lose you as a potential patient. lol
