We don't have to shave your recipient area to do hair transplant surgery.
But for the donor area ie the back of your head and the sides,we usually shave those regions while performing a FIT procedure.You can still choose the option of shaven patches ie we are shaving small area that could be covered by the hairs above or the non shaving procedure.It is just more expensive to do that way.
