My 2nd procedure 20th May 2005(pics)!!

A general discussion about hair restoration.

There are pretty much three methods of scar repair:

1: Reduction, meaning removing the scar and re-suturing it. A scar will remain but it should be smaller

2: Graft into the scar with FIT from the scalp or body. This will not remove the scar but I will hide it.

3: No. 1 followed by No. 2 8-10 months later.

I was never under the impression I'd have to keep my hair the length that I now have to keep it.

Then I am sorry but you got screwed, predicting a scar beforehand is to date just not doable. I think your best bet might be to FIT/FUE into the scar to try and camouflage it. Dr Cole and his colleagues on this site are the experts and will best advise you on what to do.

Good luck.
