I'm thinking that additional graftings into the scar might make it less and less detectable. Am I correct in thinking this? If further work were done to get the hair counts and direction to mimic the surrounding hairs, along with fading pigment, would it be possible to get the gentleman into a nice 1 guard?

Scars are very hard to camouflage, I have never seen that done.[/i]

Additional session

From the results, if this guy had 1-2 more sessions then that scar would be pretty darn camoflaged.

The color now matches the surrounding skin. It is only the difference in hair density that seems to give it away in the pictures.

I will check to see if he is willing to send us updated photos. This could take some time.

hello, i would like to know can this be done with body hair? and is this the only picture of scar repair? how are the results of these procedures, and are they common? it seems there are more and more people looking to do this(me included) that want to repair the work and try to reverse it as much as i can. but it would be nice to see more pictures and cases seen on the site. thanx

These are links to scar repair cases on our website. Often times Dr. Cole will do combo sessions of FIT/BHT into the scar and he will ask that the patient do 2-3 smaller procedures to ensure the best results.

Body Hair

Postby digitalhair » Mon Jan 16, 2006 8:28 pm

How is the decision to use body hair or scalp hair for the scar determined?
