Since you have two problems - the recipient site grafts and the donor scar - the two solutions should ideally compliment each other. If you get a scar revision, for example, perhaps the FU grafts yielded could conceal the cosmetic issue in the recipient area. If you "FIT out" some of the bad grafts one at a time, the volume displacement might smooth the skin and the grafts could be placed into the scar to break it up. A solution might present itself in another way aswell. It is hard to say without pictures. Ultimately you will need to meet with the doctor to see what can be achieved.
