activity does not affect the grafted area as much as it does the donor area.
with fit and fue you can resume a more active life style immediately. with strip surgery you need to avoid heavy exertional and contact sport activity due to the risks to the donor area. the sutures in the donor area hold the margins of the wound together. contact sports can result in an openning of the wound after the sutures come out.
as far as the grafts go, you simply must avoid activities that might dislodge a graft. this includes head stands, head buting, picking at the grafts, etc. jogging is ok as is weight lifting. many physicians feel you should avoid activities for 10 days, but i have never found it a problem. simply take the day of your procedure off. after that, you can become active with little concern about the recipeint area.
