If you're following recent research, there's a lot of of buzz about PRP. I've read that several ht docs are interested in it and testing already. Here's hoping.

It's using platent rich plasma(taken from your blood) and injecting on the scalp to induce hair growth. I think a Dr. Greco introduced the idea in hair loss and several doctors are using/testing. I don't know if I can post the hair sites that are discussing it. Google and you can find info.

Thats not an intuitive idea for a therapy, is is just simple 'extra blood supply = extra hair growth' ;you would think the tissue damage (like the bruise you get from an injection) would be greater than the benefits of extra blood- I will google and find out! thanks again

Apparently it's a new idea being used in other areas of medicine for treatment.
