It says 2 month post op I would have to be. This would have to be a MAJOR downer I hope that doesnt happen to me when I get around to doing it.

This is actually very rare and i have seen it only a few times out of tousends of surgeries...i can count them with my fingers. The shedding in the donor from (mostly strip) or CIT is in most cases temporary and it takes 3-4 months to return to it's full appearance.
Take a look for example on this post were the patient had the same condition and reported that most of the hair has grown back in his donor area :

this was not a Dr. Cole procedure.

i guess i should have given more history....
this is my second surgery. my first one
yielded a much smaller area of shock loss.
maybe a quarter of that size on the opposite
side. it filled in after about 4 months. this
current area has me pretty upset. luckily my
hair is long enough in the back to cover most
of it up.

this pic was taken same time with my hair down.

i cant be too upset i guess... my head looks alot
better on top than it did :)
