FUE - FIT -CIT

Postby CITness » Sun Jun 15, 2008 2:40 am

FIT and CIT are our proprietary methods of hair transplantation. No one else has our technology. We have performed over 1 million grafts and over 1000 surgeries with FIT. There are those who claim to perform FIT; they don’t. In order to separate ourselves even further, we’ve advanced the technology even further and we now call it CIT. It is important to recognize that we have more results than any other clinic out there who claims to perform FUE. Furthermore, our results are ones you can magnify and see whereas others post photos that hide the lack of a result. In reality, there is CIT and not quite CIT. They call this inferior procedure FUE.

Some techniques of FUE are highly inefficient and produce a low yield with a high rate of follicle injury. Our technique and instruments are proprietary and produce the highest quality result with the lowest risk of follicle injury.

It would be inaccurate to disclose data that we even use what most clinics refer to as punches. Our instruments can accommodate any patients' needs as no one donor area is the same. As it was stated over several years ago, we did introduce the .75 to the hair transplant industry. If you meet our patients and talk to our staff then you could very well get more information about what is done at our clinic.

CIT2?

Postby nobel victim » Wed Jul 30, 2008 8:07 am

Hi there,

From your front page it seems that the main gain of CIT2 over FIT is the elimination of the need to shave the head. can I ask you about the nuts and bolts of this? IS it simply the hiar growing from the pre-transplanted fu that is trimmed?

I remember first time I visited you in Atlanta, probably 3 years ago now, Dr Cole did a pretty good job as a stylist shaving small patches to provide the 200ish fu's we needed. Which with my bushy hair was (I think!) very unobtrusive) obviously this woulnt have been possilbe for a 1000 fu session!

thanks as always

CIT part II

Postby CITness » Thu Jul 31, 2008 1:13 pm

Hi NV,

Yes. We basically have to trim each follicular unit one by one the extract them and place them on the recipient site. I used to be an expensive time consuming process. It is now cheaper and faster for Dr. Cole to performe this basic method.

Not sure about other clinics but we can pump out over 1400 of these trimmed follicular unit grafts. In a year, we have come from about 300 grafts per day to about 2000 grafts per day. The price per graft has also dropped consideralbly.

Do you use the same method with non-scalp donor fu's too? So I could turn up with a beard and hairy legs, have my 1400fu's extracted and in a week no one would be the wiser?

(actually I'm semi serious here as if you were going to use the beard as donor it might be a good idea to grow it out for a week to hide the donor sites!)

thanks again
