By the way, correct me if I'm wrong but based on the photos it appears as though the defining sugery for this patient was surgery number 3

Not neccerly, The photo you see here is after 2nd procedure with "WET HAIR",here is a after 2nd surgery with "DRY HAIR: http://www.forhair.com/images/htn_files/image020.jpg

After is first procedure he expiriened aggressive hair loss , so the implanted hairs grew but the results didn't look as good as the 2nd and the 3rd procedures. in that in mind, makes the results even more impressive.

The patient had work all over the hair line to the crown.
the crown was filled in the 1st procedure.

althought the post says he had "5600 follicular groups to his anterior hairline

True, i made a mistake and i'm going to fix it today
thank you

I looked at his chart and i have found the right numbers and some additional "during 1st procedure photos" and scaned them.
Graft count:
1st procedure: 2600g
2nd procedure:1250g
3rd procedure: 1900g
total of 5750g all on top of his head including the crown.

ForHair - thanks for the exact numbers... that's definately good info to have. 8) I also saved the 1st procedure picts as well... thanks! I don't have many of those. they definately help show how far I've progressed.

I think the 2nd and 3rd procedure really added a lot of density. I also started on propecia after the 2nd procedure and started using 5% minoxidil at nights after the 3rd. I also posted some wet/scar pictures taken this morning as well.
