how many grafts in one day with FIT?

I read a lot of world records in this subject (>3000 grafts in one session while working all nigth long).
In our clinic we have done 2000 grafts in one day session. It took at that time 14 to 15 h.Today we can average in harvesting graft around 300 per hour.In a 10 to 12 h set time , we can perform big sessions up to 2000 grafts. The problem with that ,the patient and the team are exhausted. The patient need to keep certain position for long hours and also the team will perform the same task repetitively. It decreases the comfort of all the procedure.
Our goal is to make the procedure enjoyable for both the patient and the team.A refreshed, joyfull team will produce a better job and excellent care of the patients. We find out that when you rotate people in their tasks and make them work in different patient , you create a dynamic atmosphere where everybody can stretch, relax while changing the phase of the procedure.
We worked simultaneously in three patients and achieved per day a graft count of 2000.We are producing the same amount of grafts as in a one man big sessions and nobody is complaining .It's a psychological effect and it's very important for the final result for the patient. They keep a positif thought and enjoy the surgical experience. That's the key to the success as we know that hair loss is a lifelong process and most of the patient will need more than one session.
