Hi,

I tried H&S some time ago and it havent help me with dandruff and my hair loss. Instead, it was very hard on my scalp and doesn't give great result. Since then i use a natural product for dandruff call hair force one from a brand call claude bell. Really good on the scalp, not to hard product and give good result. If you have any suggestion for shampoo like that i would be happy to read!

it all depends on your type of skin and hair. shampoo's probably won't help, since hair grows and falls out from the root (under the skin, where shampoo can't reach). I now use Matty Gardson method and b12 shots every other week.. already have regrown my bald spot, but fighting to keep and regrow my temples

Dandruff is often a reaction to Malassezia globosa, which is a yeast that can't metabolize all the the fatty acids on your scalp. the waste biproducts are irritants to the skin and lead to red, patchy areas that produce dandruff flakes. the product that is best at controlling MG is pyrithione zinc, which is the ingredient in head and sholders. Perhaps your skin found some agent in the H&S that did not agree with your skin and irritated the skin.

@soniasyril: I agree.
Choosing a good hair loss shampoo helps to improve the overall health of your hair and repair the damaged hair shafts and activates the dormant hair follicles.

The best is to try the shampoo recommended in this thread and see what suite your scalp. i find that the most effective is a combination of shampoo.
I use Salsun Blue 2 days and then head & Soulders the other 2 days, and Haircycle in the weekends. It does an excellent job.
HairCycle contains Bio-Active Ingredients. haircyce includes highly potent blend of DHT inhibitors, antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, cell proliferates, anagen stimulators, nitric oxide , precursors and androgen blockers.
