Hello Guys,
The patient ,from Italy, took those pictures by himself and I wanted to share them with you too.
It was an amazing day because we performed 2600 grafts in 18hours by the patient request.
My point here is to show the density you can get with 2600 grafts in frontal zone.
I do believe we transfered a lot of hairs (around 13000 hairs) because we had an average of 2.5 hairs per graft(=calculated density);the more hairs you move the greater the volume of hairs you will get. With FIT we are able with few grafts to get more hairs because we have the flexibility to pick and choose the best grafts accordingly to the function we want them to play.(Soft and fine for hair line, coarse and thick for top and crown).

He is a young patients and I recommended to focus in frontal zone to frame his face. And for his crown,I recommended propecia and Rogaine.
Now,he is very happy and the crown doesn't seem to bother him.If his hair loss get stable,I won't have any problem to attack the crown;as you know ,crown requires a lot of grafts and sometimes multiple sessions to make it as dense as the front.

that makes a lot of sense, good plan.
when a patient is not concern about the crown he gains more grafts for the top and frontal...
congratulations, good results.

I dont want to sound rude but these results dont look that good - at least not in that photo. It seems as if he has received a lot of hair in the hairline giving him a harsh "edge" and then simply done a comb-over on the rest.

I am also a bit curious as to how 2600 X 2.5 equals 13000?
(Or am I missing something here?)

You are not missing anything;you are very right .With a calculated density of 2.5 which means in average each follicule had 2.5 hairs,we should end up with 6500 hairs transferred.
The quality of the pictures are not good but we posted them to show the density you can get with that little amount of grafts.
I don't see the effect of combing over in the front .About the details of hair line ,It is not the best pictures to judge it;I am hoping I will see the patient in my next trip to Italy ,so I can give you guys an update.
Thank you for your remarks.

It looks great but sometimes people can overlook the amount of success. Sure, he is not back to his 16 year old status but he for damn sure is alot better than he was for the amount of area covered. It can take up to 5000 grafts depending on the individual to get back to that kind of volume, probably more. Remember, it's a case by case basis and more is not always better. People have mentioned Wassup to be the best results on this site and I tend to agree but go back and look at his profile. He started with less than this guy and was a work in progress for years. Cleche but Rome was not built in a day...

Great results!

For the amount of grafts, the results are great!!. It is very difficult to fill it in one time and the pattern of hair loss in the crown is circular and make the transplant very challenging.

When a patient has a extend hair loss, we recommend to focus in frontal zone first because it frames the face. If the patient is happy with the outcome and wants to add more density, we can attack the back or crown area. The crown area will improve with the medical therapy; at least it may prevent further loss.
