Strip VS FIT???

Postby dontdonuhart » Mon Feb 05, 2007 8:33 pm

Fit vs Strip?
if the patient has already had a previous HT by using Strip... should the next HT should be a strip..(since the scar is already there) or FIT???..

Comments appreciated since I will be making this decision in a couple of months!

thanks

FIT

Definitely FIT. With FIT, doctors can choose to only harvest the two and three hair grafts, leaving the one hair grafts behind. That is great for density that depends on the volume of hairs i.e. on the total number of hairs. Also this technique is great for the hair line design. The leading edge of a natural frontal hairline is made up of single hairs that have a smaller diameter than the hairs that are ordinarily harvested from the donor area.

With FIT doctors can choose the best grafts for each area. That's why we customize our punch according to patient's hairs characteristics. Something that is not possible with STRIP harvest.
