This are the results of 6102 graft FIT mega session case. This surgery was performed with 5135 grafts extracted from the scalp and 967 grafts extracted from the body. A large number of follicular units were required to properly treat this individualâ€™s Class 6 hair loss pattern. In this case the follicular density of the donor area was slightly better than average (80-90 fu/cm2) which enabled a 5000+ scalp FIT harvest in a single pass. The remaining grafts were harvested from the legs and chest and placed in the perimeter of the crown.
The results are very impressing and the patient is very satisfied.

This a very nice result in a large area of hair loss. The body hair growth was quite good in the perimeter of the crown and the upper crown. it was a little less in the central crown. perhaps more time would have produced a higher yeild in the crown. We have already seen that 2 years of body hair growth produces a much better result than one year or even 15 months. There are a few areas where the growth was a little less than expected, but this can occur with these dense packed megassesions in some individuals. This of course is an easy "fix" because all we need is a few grafts here and there to equalize the density. Just this past month we treated the crown with some scalp hair to augment the body hair. these results will be available some time next year. we also augmented the donor area with 2000 body hair Via FIT farming to rejuvinate the donor area last month. As you can see, the donor area is quite nice without anything. Most importantly, there is no strip scar.

Congratualtions to this patient. we are quite happy for him. The best is yet to come.

considering how thin his donor looks pre-op, I think these are excellent results. I dont understand why other sites keep bashing these results.

Excellent results Golfhair, no doubt about it...
What counts is when the patient is happy with his results ....then we know we achieved the goal.

Jorgev89, there is some BIAS on other sites...you need to learn how to filter this comments.
I qouted a user called "The Fittest", i think he put it in the best way:

I can only shake my head at what I read on the other site. Guys seem to like (many of them have *never* seen HT in-person!) wretchedly front-loaded, Rileyesque, toupee-style, transplanty hairlines.

Know why this is? b/c these guys look at "pics" and see what they imagine is a "dense" result. This is what people think they can get from HT. "Dense" results. This is a lie.

When one compares the number of follicular units that are lost to MPB to the number that have been moved for a transplant, one sees that the difference is *glaring.* You can NEVER restore anything close to original density by HT.

And by making the very frontal hairline "super dense," you make an *unnatural contrast* with the remaining miniaturizing hair on the top and sides. It looks terrible; and it looks obvious.

This Cole result is superb. Why?

Because this guy has gone from *bald* to *not bald* without there being the slightest indication that surgery has taken place. There is no strip scar -- no obvious smiley across the back of the head. That's great -- but what is most important? The naturalness of the result.

No front-loaded bullsh*it. Just a completely undetectable hair transplant. This is the way it should be done.

That's why I went to Cole. Hair transplants that do not scream *hair transplant.*

This guy was a great candidate. Over 50, salt and pepper hair, some wave in the hair. This is what I like to see. Not 5000+ grafts idiotically jammed into the "frontal zone" of a guy in his twenties.

Sheesh.

Congrats to golfhair/behappy. Good job from Cole and crew.

PS: the *myth* of the "moth-eaten" donor has been decisively laid to rest. Take another look at that donor. After 5000+ scalp grafts. Damn!

Yes I do look much younger. The reaction of friends and family has been totally positive. For example, women that I did not tell about the HT, have said that my hair looks great or "you're growing your hair - it looks very nice".

Those - the few -that I have told about the HT think that the results are excellent and completely natural.

It is not alarming at all that strip hair transplant patients complain about these results. Why? Simple. Most of them either work for a strip hair transplant doctor or they get free grafts in exchange for bashing everyone except their strip physician. Strip physicians in general are scarred to death. if patients finnally realized that they do not need to strip scar and an invasive strip procedure to obtain great hair restoration results, strip doctors would be out of business the next day. strips are highly invasive procedures. they leave ugly scars on the back of your head. they are quite easy though. the strip physician will spend no more than 1 to 2 hours performing a hair transplant. FIT physicians on the other hand may spend up to 40 hours working to achieve this result.

Yes, the strip world is afraid and for good reason.

It's important to mention that these photos of golfhair results are 100% honest and are without any covering manipulations like many other clinics tend to do.

Example: Here is a picture that the patient took with his own camera that show more coverage just because a different camera and different lightning conditions.

Wow, this is an impressive coverage...
I'm new to this site and also new to the FIT technique, i have been in contact with a clinic in europe and almost scheduled for the other technique (strip?)...thank god i came across this website, i prefer to have the option to shave my hair short on the sides and the back.
I have looked today on some other fue results but must admit that Dr. Cole's results speak for themselves. they are extremely soft and natural...Dr. cole, what are you doing different to achieve this amazing hairlines?
Golfhair can you share more about your experience? how was the healing and how did the stuff treated you? was it painful?
