Here are before and after photos of a Norwood 3 patient who came to our clinic just before New Years day of 2007. The patient has medium light brown hair with an above average donor density of 116 hairs per square centimeter. At 30 years of age, the patient’s goals were to increase density in frontal third. Dr. Cole successfully transplanted 1550 grafts to treat this patient’s hair loss. The grafts were strategically placed to form a stronger frontal scalp and increase density on the hair line. Smaller grafts have the advantage of producing a thinner but more natural look. This patient’s hair will appear naturally even if further hair loss occurs. At 8 months post-op, the patient’s goal has already been met. We congratulate this patient on the new appearance and better quality of life.
