Procedure and timing questions

Hello,
I am planning to schedule an FIT session next year for around 2000 grafts in Brussels.

1. Can a 2000 graft FIT be done in one day at the present time ? I ask because I do not want the swelling to catch me on the flight back home as i am planning on catching a plane the very next day.

2. I know the donor area must be shaved to have the fastest procedure possible, but will I need to also shave my recipient area? I would much prefer not to have the recipient area shaved for obvious reasons and i figure I would be able to cover up the scabs with my existing hair.

3. I currently use dermatch on some weakspots of my hairline. How long after surgery would I be able to use the dermatch to conceal the scabs and redness?

Thank you for your time

We have done as many as 2700 grafts in one day with FIT shaven, but we cannot gurantee this all the time. We are quite fast and careful, but you must always remember that not all hair comes out as fast. It is better to do the job well rather than do it fast. If the grafts come out easily, it is possible to do 2000 in one day, but it is better to do it in two days as this carries less risk that we will not meet the graft count you desire.

You shoud be able to used dermatch in 10 days. You can use toppik the next day if desired.
