Hi,
My questions are:
1.) Assuming reasonable financial resources at my disposal, is it realistic to tell myself that I should be able to maintain a full looking head of hair for the rest of my life through FIT and BHT techniques? I am keen not to have strip surgery.
2.) I understand that even with BHT a lack of donor hair is usually the limiting factor. Generally speaking, does raising the hairline significantly change the appearance of the face from the front, or does a raised hairline generally frame the face in the same way as a lowered one? Essentially I am wondering if if I would still 'look' the same.
Many thanks for taking the time to answer.

1-Hair loss is a progressive situation that last all life long. Hair transplant surgery is a good way to replace hairs but it doesn't assure you about the fall of your existing hairs. For that reason it is very important you keep taking medication such as Propecia and Rogaine to prevent further loss. Another product that we recommend is haircycle product line (see www.haircycle.com for more information) which promote hair grow by fighting the DHT(hormone responsible for hair loss) and by stimulating the anagen phase( the growing phase of your hairs).
2-It really depends on so many factors such as your hair loss progress, hair quality, density, caliber, etc. Having a consult is perhaps the best way to gather information about your current status, possible future status, and recommendations about what options are best for your specific situation.
We usually recommend a conservative approach for the hairline. If you lower your hair line, it will look natural but you could need more HT to keep the results, and the donor are is a limit resource. However, there are many options available, such as using body hair or FIT farming to extend the donor resources.
We get natural results which is more important than dense hair line. Most of our patients like the naturalness of our frontal hair line and if you want it denser, then we can do it in a 2nd session later on.
