A total 2800 FIT grafts were placed over this patient’s frontal third and crown area. The after photos were taken 2 years after the procedure.

Just another great FIT result from Dr. Cole and the IHTI team!

Patients have different tastes, i like to keep it very short on the sides and make it gradually longer on top and longer on the front scalp and hairline...but that's me. some patients like to have the shaved look.
If you will look at his before photos you can actually imagine how he will look with the shave look now...
With FIT it is possible to have the shaved look, patients can shave it to guard 1 without any visible scars to the naked eye.

I think this gent had another 2000-2500 FIT recently. Once that grows out, I am sure he will get away with alot of different styles... Laughing

Im a bit confused.

He got 2800 FIT and he looks no different now than he did before...
2800 in an area of that size should produce some sort of results.

It can be hard to tell the difference when comparing before pictures where the hair is buzzed very short and after pictures where the hair is longer.

Before, the frontal third was a whispy, narrow island of hair. There was also an area of thinning in the center of this island. After, the frontal third is thick and full from temple to temple.

Before, the hair line was recessed on the sides about an inch or more from his original hair line. The hair line after has been brought forward to the black line that has been drawn in on the before pictures.

It can be hard to tell the difference on the hair line because it looks completely natural, even on up-close evaluation. Rather than choosing a teenager's hairline, which goes straight across the forehead, this patient chose a more mature hairline that slopes gently back on the sides. This is more appropriate for his age, takes less hair, and is easier to maintain as his hair loss progresses throughout his life.

I do agree with the other comments that this patient is due for an updated hair style, though Wink

Hi jessica.

Yeah, new hairdo a must I believe : )

I was not talking about the placement of the hairline, I tend to agree with the conservative approach. What I meant was that I would not be surprised that if he got this hair-style before the HT it would look prett much exactly the same.
You can see straight through the hair transplanted in the hairline so it looks like he is still bald in that area.

But then that may just be me not seing this properly.
Do you have any images where the hair is slicked back?

And I do realise it may be hard to find but if he had the same shaved look in the after as in the "before" images it would be much easier to tell what the progres has been.

I agree that more descriptive pictures would have been better. There are more examples in our patient gallery and forums. We also have a list of our patients that have volunteered to speak to others and show them their results in person. If you contact the office, we can check to see if any one is in your area.
