Hi everyone, I know I said I was going to wait a few months before posting photos, but I thought the one month pics were so interesting I wanted to share. This is pre-op and exactly one month out from my half day remove and redistribute FIT session with Dr. Cole. Note that the pluggyness is nearly gone. Something else to note is that in the before picture, my hair is dry and styled with a thickening hair spray, and in the after photo, my hair is wet, no styling/thickening products, and just brushed back a bit. Thus, the before picture is my hair at its "best", and the after photo is my hair at its "worst". Not too shabby in my estimation!

I look forward to the coming months as the healing continues and eventually as the FUs stuck back in start to grow.

I like your new hairline...very natural. who did your previous pluggy hairline that Dr. Cole correct?

Thanks, guys. Yeah, I feel better about my head already. There's still redness at the extraction sites but this is expected for only one month post-op. Very important to me is that I can now, for the first time in nearly a decade and a half, brush and shampoo my hair without irritating a bunch of ugly, red, and crucially, "raised", plugs on the frontal third. The skin is much, much smoother already in front (used to be very bumpy). The FUs coming in are a bonus. I'm also optimistic about the filling in of the linear scars, hope for the best.

Forhair, you asked about my case, who my doctor was, etc. - I was chopped up by one of Bosley's hairmill minions in 1993. A long-winded version of my story is on this site, at:

http://www.forhair.com/hairtransplant/viewtopic.php?t=1056

Thanks for the interest guys, maybe I'll post a photo again at the three month mark.

Hi guys, thought I would add a couple new pictures of my repair progress, I'm at the 4 1/2 month mark now. Here's a before and after of the front, and a before and after with the front pulled back. I will endeavor to take some photos of the growth in the linear scars soon (there's some decent growth back there in the two scars already). The current redness you see is mostly some ingrown hairs and some over-use of foam minox (love that stuff!).

Hope things are well for everybody out there, take care!

Wow! That makes a huge difference. Not pluggy at all anymore. Great photos

Hi all, thought some might be interested in a six-month update. Here are some shots of the front. I can't seem to get decent pics of the linear scars, but will endeavor to get some next time. Overall things are normalizing nicely in front, there's still some stubble in front and in the scars, so I am hopeful for the next 6 months as well. My hair here is out of the shower, towel dried a good bit and brushed back to reveal the hairline.
