Cortaid on the Recipient Area?

Just a general question....I came in for a FIT HT last Tuesday and the healing process has been going well but tomorrow I've gotta go to work. My only problem is that I'm still red on the recipient area so I bought some Cortaid which contains 1% hydrocortisone (this is a spray bottle, not a cream) to try to cut down on the redness and the slight itching. I was just wondering if this spray should be fine to use sparingly on the recipient area or not?

Thanks

I would say give it two weeks and then use sparingly. One week is a little early fo anything besides the Biotin spray.

i thought that ihti recommends the haircycle for their patients...why you don't use haicycle?
according to patients it is a great help for the postop healing.

I really just want to cut down on the redness of the recipient area. I have the Biotin spray and it's worked very well, I just wondered if I could use the Cortaid to remedy the redness.

You might wish to look at Haircycle post-surgical gel. This should be helpful in conjunction with the biotin spray...
