Small Session?

Dr Cole through online consult estimated 500 to 800 fue to fix my hairline, he has me at a NW 2...

I avoided strips through my whole (tortured) youth over this and use to always wish something like FIT existed, I have researched for years and waited to see if results panned out and they seem to have...

I have a VERY tough mentality to the HT process and am nervous that I may not like results and they not be good enough for me and cause me more problems then just trying to live (and suffer) with this...

to cut to the short, do you think it is possible to just do a very small session and see how I react to it? Like perhaps some graphs in my one troubled temple area (even if me loss gets worst this area will stand on it's own I feel) to see what my reaction is to the HT...and if I love it or see it is not for me...

I guess a small test HT is what I am curious of and if it is possible...I just feel this is the best way for me to go ahead with this and put it all to rest once and for all...

This is something I feel I need to do for myself right now...

no problem with a small session. you can start with 50 to 200 grafts if you like just to test the water.

You sound like a very cautious and thoughful person. We are able to create a result via FIT that is very natural and scar free. These sessions are entirely standalone and require no further commitment or in any way obligate you to future surgery. My hunch is that once you try a test area you will be sold. Again that is just a hunch! Have you contacted a patient coordinator to provide you with the next steps or are you still in a research phase?

First, Thank you so much for replying to this post Dr Cole and for the offer of a small session, it means the world to me because it is the way I feel I need to go forward with this process...

I have been in touch with Michele over the last months, and hoping for Dr Cole to go to NYC because me getting to Atlanta is a bit difficult to work out, I received the email today that Dr Cole will be heading to NY the 24th and am waiting for a reply to see if I can book...

I feel once Dr Cole see's me he will understand why I want a small session and the area i want it in as well as what that bit will do and help me to see how far ahead I want to go...

My dream would be to have the "wassup" hairline and my hopes are to do this little area and then see if I want to go for the whole shabang as they say...but do not want to do something I regret or which puts me in a worst situation then I was in...

at this point of my life, the pain that this has caused me, the position I put myself in (treatments and holding off loss) I feel I need to take a chance at my happiness, and with FIT I can try to do it really risk free with a small session right now...

So I hope to meet with Dr Cole in NYC and get an honest realistic view, see if my expectations can be met and a small session done with the hope of, after that fixing my whole hairline....I do have very high expectations for what I need, FIT and "wassup" type of results are my expectations more or less...my loss is somewhat minimal, with frontal loss causing an uneven hairline and general thinning (hidden well with a 1/2 inch buzz cut) which I want to leave my hair short even after HT

To fix my hairline you gave me a recommendation of 500 to 800 grafts, and I asked for a conservative estimate at that time...

So if I booked early enough for NYC with Michele I should see you very soon Smile
