1972 FIT grafts were used to rebuild this patient’s hairline and frontal 1/3. He now enjoys substantially more hair in his frontal zone as well as a sleeker facial frame.

very natural, it looks like his new hairline was rebuild 1 inch below his old hairline...can you confirm that? what norwood would you say he was before his procedure?

I think it is safe to say he is a norwood 3. You will notice, however, that his recessions are so deep they begin to touch towards the midscalp and we see the beginnings of an isolated frontal forelock. Had he not opted to a FIT surgery in the frontal area, i suspect this patient would have easily progressed to a class 4 over time.

Euro,

I believe the hairline was lowered 2-3cms at the midpoint and a lot more in the temple areas.

FOr some reason I would think the coverage would be alot greater for this amount of grafts.. It looks like a small improvement only b/c I think the illusion is the longer length of the hair at the temple areas giving better coverage. The top looks only slightly improved for that amount.

Was the yield less than expected?
