forhair - thanks man. I don't stress as much as last week about people seeing anything. hopefully the fitted grafts in the scars will yield and look even better in 12 months or so...

Dr. Cole - thanks so much. I had a great time in San Diego. It was all very interesting and intriguing - fun too... I haven't had that many hands on my head since surgery Wink you know I wondered if it was new growth that was making my hair feel a little wirery but since my the hair up front shed a couple times I had assumed it did all over... I assumed it was just a little stressed from surgery. do singles have a greater chance of shedding over doubles and triples?

I took some pictures today at around 8 weeks. although my hair is starting to grow out, I still think my hair is a little ragedy/stressed at this stage. I also think I am experiencing some diffused type shock in a couple areas in my donor (mostly the left side/left back back side, maybe a little/tad on the right back too but mostly the left). if it wasn't for my strip scars I would probably buzz down again and wait for the hair to grow back together with the new grafts. I still may buzz down a little anyways. below are the picts.

Wassup:
Excellent photos. Wait till everything grows in, it's going to look great!

You mentioned stress. I've been working nearly 7 days a week for the last month or so. My wife came across a supplement that works well for both of us. It's called METHYL-GUARD by Thorne. It's available online. It does a good job of getting rid of that tapped out feeling and helps us get back some energy level.

Hope everything is going well for you and your family. When you coming back to Atlanta?

nthmainneighbor - great to hear from you. I hope yourself and the family are doing well. everyone is doing well here. your work ethic is way up there, remember to take a break every now and then. stress will run you down in a heartbeat. I'm not sure when my next trip to ATL will be. We'll definitely have to hook up again next time I'm in town though. be sure to tell the family I said hello.

just saw some recent video thanks to nthmainneighbor, and I dont' think my FIT scar picts are really worthy when compared to immediate post-op video - i don't think they are bad at all anyways but appear to get mentioned every now and then online.

let me know what you think... thx again nthmainneighbor - this is great footeage...

When did the majority of your growth come in for the hairline? I mean what month? I am almost 4 months post op for HL work and its growing each week. (The right side faster and thicker than the left. )

Sweet Cheeks, you have so much to come...I remember that the majority of my grafts grow out at 7-8 months post-op, My hair continued to thicken even after 12 months.
your left side will catch up. this happens to some patients...

Sweet Cheeks - i apologize for taking so long to respond. With my last FIT procedure, I've started to see grafts come in around 8 weeks post-op. I'm about 1 week out from 3 months post-op now. on average most of the grafts are in by 12 months but I've had some growth in the 12-18 months range as well oin the past. the hair will also continues to mature, thicken and style nicer in the 12-24 months range as well (at least in my experiences).
