Well let me see..... Im 19 years old i started noticing my hair thinning for almost 10 monts now. And im not sure if im going bald, because no one in my family is bald none of my dads family or moms family(grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, brothers, sisters, everyone has a full head of hair) Also its more noticeble on the side(profile) of my hairline but my hair was always slighthly lighter in this area since i was a kid but know its alot more noticeable, and all over my head i just notice my hair slightly thinner...Also i dont know if it matters but i have alot of dandruff on my head i mean ALOT!!! Is this male pattern baldness???Em i going bald? ........All your comments will be greatly appreciated. Thankyou.

hi Caliguy,

What ever you do if you see your hairline receading start using Propecia and using haircyle and Nizoral, because the longer you wait to act the more hair you will loose which you will not be able to ever grow back... I have done that mistake of being scared to take propecia hoewver it is not that bad.

Cheers

He is right, the sooner you get on Propecia the better off you will be, but first you have to document that you have androgenic alopecia. You must inherit it. Sometimes you need to trace the gene back on your mother's side to your mother's, mother's father. Sometimes you simply cannot locate the gene. Your family geneology simply is not long enough. The hall marks of androgenic alopecia are a finer, lighter hair that does not grow as fast as the surrounding hair. Propecia can help stop this in it tracks. Haircycle shampoo can prolong the growing cycle of each hair and this is important because each has has only so many cycles. once a hair cycles through it's last cycle, that's it and it is gone for good. Haircycle prolongs each cycle so the hair lasts longer.

Get an evaluation from a dermatologist to see what he says. He should be able to document finer lighter hairs that are the hallmark of androgenic alopecia and get you a prescription for propecia. You do not need a prescription for haircycle.

Dandruff is not a sign of androgenic alopecia. if you have this, you should start with head and sholders shampoo for 7 days. leave the shampoo on for 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing. then after 7 days use the H&S shampoo two days a week and Haircycle shampoo 5 days a week.

you have no idea how many patients tell me that they wish they had begun propecia 5 years ago before their hair loss took off. you will be well ahead of the game if it turns out you have androgenic alopecia and you start propecia. if you do not get the script and you have AA, give us a call. good luck and stop that hair loss in its track.

8 out of 10 people find their hair loss stablizes. 1 out of 10 get more hair. 1 out of 10 get no benefit and continue to loose hair.
