Laser Doc in Los Angeles?

I received 150+ grafts (5-8 hairs each) in the early 90's on my front hairline. I feel better than a lot of people here, because I think the doc did good work and the amount of grafts were low.

I had only the initial procedure, and never went back for the two follow-up procedures. Fortunately, this has left my transplants spaced well-apart from each other and easy to see - which should make them easy to attack with laser removal.

Does anyone know a good laser doc in Los Angeles (or possibly San Francisco) who has worked extensively in transplant removal?

I would like to try the non-surgical route before anything else.

Thanks!

Not that i know of...you can check the link/resources page on the forhair website. or type "laser" in the search function of the forum, maybe you will find posts that recommend one.
Good luck

i have not heard of any long term sucesses with laser hair transplant removal. keep us posted. any good laser surgeon who specializes in lasers would be a good choice. there are many in LA and SF. i do not know any personally.

Doctor,

I have used electrolysis on some 2-3 hair micrografts in the hairline and have had some "percieved" success. Are you suggesting that these will come back? The electrolysis definitely seems to thin them out before it kills them. I have also heard other success stories with electr. If this method has worked for years, why would it not work on grafts? (even if it takes longer) If I was to zap a hair over and over for a long period of time, are you saying that that hair would survive the long run? Keep in mind that I am not talking about old plugs but smaller grafts. I have not heard much about laser but I want to make sure that I am not fooled or have misconceptions about electrolysis. Thanks for the help.
