No, I have never had a HT. However I am giving it serious consideration. The only two things holding me back are fear (do not know what to expect) and Money. I wish I could see one of his patience in person but I do not want do fly to Atlanta to do it. I have read really wonderful things about Dr. Cole and would love to have him do the surgery but I just do not know if I can afford him. He says I need 2500 graphs, @ 8 per graph that hurts. If I could get him to go for 6 per graph I would schedule this afternoon. (LOL)
I guess you get what you pay for!!! I have many things to think about. Any other info you can provide I would appreciate.

Thanks

Curious

Don Reverso, i have actually taken his before photo with his head shaved, and for the comparison i have a photo that he send me 4 months post-op...
As you can see, with FIT the donor looks pristine.

Looks good. The hair is not clipped quite as close as in the first pic. What would it look like if it were? Just curious. I am considering having about 100 grafts FIT'd for scar fill in. Obviously, knowing that this patient had over 2000 leaving an excellent looking donor area gives me much assurance. I only hesitate because I prefer to keep my hair clipped a bit shorter.(#2 guard, maybe 3) Thanks for the pics.

You will have no problem with a #2,#3 guard...
I had 2400G and my hair cut is always starting with #1 and going up to #2 guard...no one ever noticed or mentioned any scarring.
Even my barber couldn't see anything.

You can see some of my donor photos here: http://www.forhair.com/FUE_patient1.htm

It was taking very soon after the procedure...but you can see that there is no evidence.

Wow pretty impressive. I'm amazed that many people looked at my post-operative pictures. That's really cool

Curious,

Glad you liked my pictures. Seriously, you do get what you pay for and I assure you that every penny that you invest will pay off with Dr. Cole. He is really one of a kind and does not treat his patients like a number like other doctors do. Basically, he tells it how it is. This procedure is the most innovative method today in hair transplantation and what's more important is that it does not leave any scarring. Before I met Dr. Cole, I almost went to Bosley. At the time, I had no idea about the procedure that Dr. Bosley performed because the promo ads on television did not explain the method that clearly, which is on purpose of course. But now I'm so glad I never made the decision to go to him because even though his procedure is less expensive (there's a reason for that), I don't think I would ever get over the fact that I would have a permanent scar in the back of my head. In regards to the money, the difference of a $6 graph compared to a $8 graph is not as extreme as getting a bad transplant with another surgeon which will be a permanent reminder to you forever. When it comes to your own self, money should not be that much of a factor especially if you really want to have a procedure done. If you did'nt then it would not be a problem. But since you have been thinking about it, why not go with the best surgeon out there.
