Dr. Cole,

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and your incredible staff for the repair work that you started with me on Wednesday. I was extremely nervous, but as soon as you began to work and map out a plan, your confidence in your ability to get me closer to a more normal appearance really put me at ease. The focused worked of you, Patrick, and the rest of your staff was really a sight to see, and I'd love to name all of the techs who had a hand in this, but I also don't want to leave out any names (I feel bad for not remembering them all, but I'd feel worse if I left someone out!).

I'm still in shock at the amount of work you performed on me, and I'm extremely excited to see the results in the near future. It's really a wonderful feeling to know that your really care about your patients- and the more I think about the time and the focus that you spent on me, the more I realize how much you really do care. As I sit here today I am truly in awe of your expertise and your dedication, and I'll probably never find the words to express how deeply grateful I am to you and your staff for restoring my hope for the future. I cannot wait to continue my work with you a few months down the road, and I am truly excited to see what happens next.

Congrats Daveone,

It must be an immense feeling after living with poor work to finally get on that road to repair with a Doc at the top of his field.

I'll be following in your footsteps in 6 weeks and with testimonials like yours, I'm sure it will be a breeze.

Any inside info on best hotels, eateries, shops etc would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Good luck Needhelp, I think you picked a great doc! I'm two days post surgery and I'm in no discomfort at all. I've been using the biotin spray like crazy and my head feels great!

There's literally a ton of hotels and places to eat along Haynes Bridge Rd, in the North Point Mall area. Just drive up and down that road around the mall and you'll see a ton of stuff. I stayed at both the Fairfield Inn, then moved to the Residence Inn on North point Dr, and if you can get a good price, I'd go for the Residence Inn, as the rooms have refrig, Microwave, sitting area, Big bathroom area, almost like a studio apt. You might find some hotels closer to the clinic on Westward Pkwy as well, but I chose to stay around the mall area, and it's still only around 2 miles or so from the clinic.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask, I'll give as much info as I can. You can't go wrong with the folks at IHTI!

Cheers DaveOne , much appreciated!

Did you drive to the procedure? I'm going to be flying in so will be carless for the few days I'm there. Ideally I'll probably stay around the North Point Mall in order to pass the time for the few days after until I fly home.

So what time did the surgery start in the morning? I'll need to plan it carefully to ensure that I can get a cab there in time.

Anyway thanks again for your help and good luck with everything.

Needhelp,

If you stay at the Residence Inn on North Point Dr., you are literally in the mall's backyard, about a 200 yd walk through the mall parking lot and you're at the front door of the food court if I remember correctly.

My appt was originally 12:30, but then they asked me to come in earlier as they had an opening, so I was happy to oblige and get a jumpstart. I would plan to get there a half an hour early, since there will be some paperwork to fill out and they will take full photos beforehand. Besides, you'll probably be a bit "nervy" anyway so it's nice to be able to get there a bit early and have time to settle a bit. I believe the hotel has a shuttle service, so you might be able to arrange something with them. From the mall to the clinic is probably about a 5 to 10 min drive, depending on the time of day. It's not far, but there's a couple of major traffic lights to wait through, so 5 min on a good day, but no more than 10 usually.

Anything else you can think to ask me feel free!

Daveone,

Thanks for the nice post. I didn't see it until now. It is great to have positive thinking patients such as yourself. I was and am optimistic about your repairs. Be in touch Smile
