Hello im 19 years old and have been losing my air at the fornt and crow progreesively for a year (14 months to be precise). It began when I woke up one morning and to my horror hairs began to come out in my hairs,, in 2s and 3s..... i was paranoid for months but people said they couldnt notice any difference but I knew it was thinner. Now it is receeding at them temples and the front.... it isnt extremely prominant although this is changing and it is getting worse. sometimes I wake up and think its got bit worse over night is this possible? I have always began a course of 1mg Propecia and am thinking of begiinbg to use Minodoxil also what is your best advice and how should they be sued together.

Your hairloss is probably no where near as bad as you think. Looking at photos before my HT it really did look fine - yeh there was recession and yeh I know it was a lot thinner than it looked in photos but IT IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD. Your taking the right plan, Propecia and Minox is a good start if you want to fight this - at your age HT is not. I'd say hold on to what you've got for as long as possible........if it gets too bad then buzz your head and maybe think about an HT in 10 years time (by that time the advancements should be huge)
Well said. More importantly, take comfort in knowing that at 19 you are lucky to begin balding in the beginning of 2006. Advancements are made every month...live your life...you will have hair wherever you want someday if you want to.
Yeah, keep faith bro. I started seeing fallout my senior year in highschool. You've got enough pressures at that age already and it didn't help that hairs were falling onto my desk in English class. Get on propecia now, and I mean now. I was on it early in college and got off...it was a bad decision. I thought I would be totally bald by the time I was 25. Well, I'm 25 now and I'm holding pretty tight. Get yourself a good shampoo like haircycle.
