10 months post-op

Hi,
This is my first time on this forum.
I'd like to post my photos 10 months post-op for your expert opinion.
I am very disappointed because as you can see, hair on the left and the right temples are filling in very badly – they are almost bare.
The transplanted area is very noticeable because of the growth density is very low, compared to the hair around it.
It has been this way for ...

Hair transplant repair in woman

An interesting case presented to Dr. Cole yesterday. This female hair restoration surgery patient is biracial, with one African-American parent and one Asian parent. Due to her partially Asian heritage, her hair follicles are straighter than someone of purely African descent. (You can see an example of one of her three-haired follicular units in the photo.) Although this patient was not exhibiting any signs of female hair loss, she was unhappy with her congenital high ...

6 month RESULTS [with before/after pics for comparison]!

I have had 4 prior hair transplants with multiple different physicians due to poor outcome, bad placement, large pitted units in the front, horrible huge scar. I almost gave up on transplantation, I thought, why can't mine look like all those pics you see on the internet and TV?

Now, it seems it can!
Here are my pics before surgery with Dr Cole, and 6 months later...

Allow me to point out 2 things:
1. ...

Post op healing results after 800 CIT grafts + plug removal

Hi forum viewers,

This repair patient came in for a third session of plug repair. The patient had many large follicular units on the frontal hair line that equated for an unsightly appearance. Seven days ago, the patient came back to our clinic to have an additional session of plug removal completed by Dr. Cole. After 800 CIT grafts and approx. 50 plugs removed, the patient's treatment was accomplished. We have noted that CIT repair ...

6 months post-op

I just wanted to thank Dr. Cole and team for a wonderful job they did on my head. I'm six months post op from at 1300 graft procedure and was really worried that everything would grow in at once and look stubby. The progression was very natural and no one even noticed. My friend had been cutting my hair of the past 6 months but I finally went to thestylist at my health club in ...

Fixing a camoflaged strip scar - Options available

Below are a couple of scars that were tattooed with colors similar to the color of the patient's flesh. This method of minimizing the appearance of strip scars is not ideal and disfigures many individuals. It is especially awful when darker colors are used because it is a fact that the color fades into lighter shades of color in time. Tattooing a scar can be extremely difficult to maintain due to the routine touch-ups they ...

Removal of unwanted hair in strange places via CIT

This patient had a face lift prior to coming to our office. The face lift resulted in an elevation of some beard hair to a region behind the ear. Most of the hair was white or lacked pigment. Hair without pigment will not respond to laser hair removal. Only darker, pigmented hairs will respond to laser hair removal. He had a difficult time shaving these hairs. Therefore, we excised them with CIT. These unwanted hairs ...

Nuisance eyebrow hair successfully removed via CIT -Results

This is an eyebrow reconstruction. The patient had misplaced hair growing above his right eyebrow in an unnatural location. The medial border of the right eyebrow had less hair than the medial aspect of the left eyebrow. Therefore, we removed the hair from above the right eyebrow and relocated it to the medial aspect of the right eyebrow. The hair was removed individually using our patented CIT instrumentation. Afterwards, the incisions were sutured as a ...

5 days of healing after scar grafting!!!

Here is a scar that is 5 days post-op. The patient had a strip procedure in the summer of 2002. After being totally dissatisfied with the unsightly strip scar, the patient opted to move forward with grafting the scar via CIT. Just last week, Dr. Cole transferred approximately 200 CIT scalp grafts into this patient's 11cm x 3mm scar.

Many patients are not aware of the options to repair strip scars. They are under the ...
