What if a Hair Transplant Goes Wrong?

I've been doing some research on it and I'm a bit scared to be frank. Could this actually happen or is it just hyperbole?

Mini Grafts - Run!!!

Apparently a few doctors continue to place mini grafts via strip surgery in 2012! Dr. Cole received a call last Tuesday from a patient who just had mini grafts placed. If mini grafts aren't bad enough, the new hairline for this young man was placed way too low. This man could tell even before there was any growth something was seriously wrong. Mini grafts, just one step up from plugs can never produce a natural ...

Dr. Cole - Conserve Your Precious Donor Hair

In our video captured on 11-7-2012, Dr. Cole explains the danger of having multiple strip procedures. As a strip scar widens, grafts that could have been used on top are instead needed to hide the scar. Basically, to most patients with a wide strip scar, hiding their scar becomes a higher priority than improving the hair loss on top of their head. Conserve as much of your donor hair as possible by avoiding a strip ...

Conservative Approach Advised for Younger Men

Last week, approx. 50% of Dr. Cole's patients were in to repair other doctor’s work. One of our patients this week had a good strip scar as far as strip scars go. He wanted to minimize its appearance because his donor area density is relatively low. Dr. Cole administered Acell into both the donor and recipient areas. We have seen up to 60% follicle regeneration in our donor areas. We have a doctor on staff ...

New Video - The Critical Importance of Artistic Skill

Dr. Cole nearly always dissuades men considering hair restoration surgery from getting a strip surgery. Dr. Cole began his hair restoration practice performing strip surgery because it was the very best method known at that time. Now in 2012, there are far superior options available ...

dermaroller to improve recipient site without damaging hair

HI All,

I'm interested in improving the recipient scalp which was damaged by the nobel clinc many moons ago, and which Dr Cole has done so much to improve over the years. I understand the dermaroller products can help break up bundles of collagen in the scar tissue, and normally a length of between 1 and 1.5 mm is recommended for this. While dermarollers for hair loss (which I have no idea if they work) ...
