Body hair

Hi all. I have been reading this site for about 3 years on and off now and now with my hairloss as bad (obviously, considering ive been losing it for 5 yrs!) as its ever been i thought now would be a good time to post a thread asking some advice for the future.

Please help! Opinion needed to see if I got what I paid for

I am appealing to any experieced FUT professional (doctor or patient) for a favor. I did my surgery on last week and I cannot tell if my doctor (who is highly reputable) did as many grafts as he said. Could you kindly look at the attached photo and give me your opinion as to how many incisions/grafts this appears to you (we focused just on the frontal area)?

Many thanks to any one who gives ...

post op donor area photos

Hi, I have seen many post op photos of recipient areas after hair has started growing back and they look great. Now my main concern is the donor area... could you post more photos of the donor areas of patients?? I am worried that you will be able to look at my donor area and tell that hair has been removed because I have thick dark hair and pretty light skin and it just seems ...

Few general questions for post surgery care

First a little background. I'm 26 years old and I started losing my hair when I was about 17 years old. The loss was pretty gradual so until about 1 year ago I could still wear my hair pretty short. Then it got to the point where I lost a little too much and had to wear my hair a little longer to cover up the thinning hair in the front of my head. So, ...

"botox tax"

Hi there, I read in the overseas news that President Obalma is considering a 10% 'botox tax' on cosmetic procedures to help fund his health care reforms. I dont want to get into the politics of this, but is there any chance that those of your with an ear nearer to the ground so to speak could keep the rest of us informed on this bill and how close it might be to becoming law. ...

Question in regards to Avodart and Cole's patients

A couple years back I had a consultation with Dr Cole and he said I should try Avodart to help maintain my hair count and gave me a prescription. I tried it out for about 3 months, but then decided to go back to propecia due to reading other people’s reports. Now 5 years later I think I might have made a mistake, or at least given it a serious try. I’ve been on propecia ...

Dormant Follicles

Hi
Some HT candidates are advised to use Rogaine before procedure or already
using Rogaine for couple of months. Many of them are in the dreadful
shedding phase of Rogaine when they get their HT. The question is what
happens to their native hair follicle if a hair graft is pushed
on it during its dormant state?
What are the chances of shockloss in such patients even they are over 30?
And finally, is it ...

Price $$$ for CIT ?

Researching between Dr. Cole and Rassman/Pak in doing a CIT/FUE. The prices for Rassman per graft for FUE are extremely expensive at $8/per, was wondering if anyone knew what Dr. Cole charges per graft for CIT? I'm between Norwood 3-4 and am probably gonna need between 2 to 2.5k grafts.

Thanks...
