1500 CIT on class 4A at 12 months post-op results

Hi forum viewers,

Several years ago this class 4A patient had a strip procedure performed before having a CIT (Cole Isolation Technique) procedure done. Through the years, the patient’s hair loss progressed and the loss of native hairs on the scalp were replaced with newly transplanted hairs to add density in the receded areas on top of the scalp. Last year, the patient came to Dr. Cole for about 1500 transplanted CIT grafts to maximize ...

1700 CIT grafts on Class 4A - 27 months post-op- Results

Hi forum viewers,

We have recently received progress photos of a class 4A patient who came to Dr. Cole in the early part of 2006 after having a strip (FUT) performed. At that time, the patient desired to add density to the top, establish a conservative hair line and graft into strip scar via CIT. The patient has light brown hair with an average donor density (180 hairs per square centimeter). Dr. Cole's treatment plan ...

2300 CIT on Class V - 18 months post-op results

In 2007, this Norwood 5 came to our clinic only to add density to the top and frontal-third. The patient has medium-fine curly hair and average donor density. Donor Shock Loss

I've been reading a lot about shock loss in the donor area after a CIT. I found out this is very rare. It's like one case in every 10,000. It may be premature to say (I'm 5 weeks PostOp) but looking at these pics seems like I'm the second or third case in history with Donor Shock Loss. I didn't really notice until a friend asked if I had a haircut in the back of ...

1 week Post-Op Pics

It's been a week since I had my HT and results are impressive. Only one week after surgery. I have 99% of my grafts in place without scabs in my recipient area. I used a gel w/Five-Alpha reductace and did not see a tiny bit of blood in my recipient area since I started spraying it consistently every hour with distilled water and gel, two hours after surgery. One week post Op all scabs are ...

Beard hair to fill in crown?

I have severly depleted donor hair with many bad scars. I need to use all possible head hair I have left to somewhat fill in these scars as this is my top priority.

I want to know if its possible to use beard hair to fill in my crown area. (I don't have a lot of body hair otherwise but my beard grows in very thick and quickly).

Attached is a pic of the crown.

What's the size ?

This is my20hr post-op pic. I'm a 42 y.o. and had 854 grafts removed from the back of my head into my hairline by Dr. Cole and team, yesterday.

Does anyone know what size of CIT punch tool they used to extract the FUs from my donor area ? I'd like to know because even though the holes look big if compared to other post-op pics I've seen from Dr. Cole's patients, you can still ...
