DJ was considered one of the toughest, if not THE toughest hair transplant repair cases of all time. I am a repair patient myself and live close to Dr. Cole's office. I had the opportunity to meet DJ in person last year. His result is nothing short of amazing... a thick head of hair with a low hairl...

body2hair: I can say with 100% certainty that I am still banned from that forum. I have visited there a few times since, but have not attempted to try to log back in. I have seen PhotoShopped results images coming out of one of the large and popular, strip-only clinics. The PhotoShop "Blur Tool" is ...

Wassup

I'm a Dr. Cole patient. I saw Wassup about the time those photos were taken. His head was nearly shaved to the bone. There were very small spaces between the hairs where the grafts were taken. I didn't see any evidence of scarring. I could only see the spaces as well as we see them in the photos whe...

This is another example of why Dr. Cole and his team's work are considered the "Gold Standard" in the industry. No one will ever know that this man ever had any work done... except that he looks better and has a lot more hair on his head. For anyone deciding on a doctor. Look at the hairlines they p...

There is a lot of deceptive information on the Internet regarding hair transplant surgery. In any research or investigation, you must consider motive. What is the motive for a strip-only hair transplant practice to say that strip produces a better yield than FIT? What is Dr. Cole's motive in stating...

Wassup: Excellent photos. Wait till everything grows in, it's going to look great! You mentioned stress. I've been working nearly 7 days a week for the last month or so. My wife came across a supplement that works well for both of us. It's called METHYL-GUARD by Thorne. It's available online. It doe...

Internet Photos for hair transplant results

One of the things you will notice about Dr. Cole’s website besides extremely satisfied patients, are the large, clear, detailed Patient Gallery photos. I was recently banned from another forum for attempting to discuss my observation, that many hair transplant doctor’s websites deliberately provide ...

2.8 Month Update

My back has healed up. It looks as hairy as ever. I went through a 3-4 week period where I was getting some pimples in the donor area. That has resolved, and my back looks like it did before my surgery. My wife can't see any evidence that anything happened there at all. At 2.8 months, my new hairlin...

Have any of you guys tried Hair Cycle?

After my 1400 bht/fit surgery with Dr. Cole over a month ago, I was asked if I wanted to use their Hair Cycle post surgery products. I decided to go with it because I want to give my newly transplanted hair every advantage it could get. I have been using Minoxidil 5% for about 1 1/2 years and contin...

13 Days after my surgery, all of the scabs fell off and my scalp looks normal. As I mentioned in a previous post, I used the Hair Cycle products and Minoxidil 5%. I was pretty much prepared for some shock loss and the usual transplanted hair shedding. In other words, I expected my hair to look worse...

The following is a closeup of my back 4 days after my procedure. Healing is coming along very well. For me, 1400 grafts is a first step toward repairing an unnatural looking hair transplant from the late 70's. Although I am 53, I obviously still care about how I look. I'm sure the typical man in his...

About 200 grafts were taken from the left side of my head. 1200 were taken from my back. The following photo was taken after the second day of surgery.

Here is a photo of my left side. Dr. Cole is repairing the pluggy hairline and giving me some added density on the front top of my head.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, during my first procedure with Dr. Cole over a period of 2 days, I had 1400 grafts placed. I plan to do more, but this is a good start.

In 1977, I expressed concern about scarring to the doctor at Bosley Medical Group. I was assured that the punch wounds would heal and "shrink" in time to where they would no longer be visible. 28 years I can still see them, can you? This "before" photo illustrates the importance of doing your resera...

Yes I did use Hair Cycle. Dr. Cole recommended using it because it promotes graft health, speeds healing and in some cases eliminates some shedding. 9 days after my surgery about 75% of the scabs have fallen off. The scalp that was transplanted was slightly pink for about a day. One day later, every...

It has been 7 days since my 1400 FIT grafts with Dr. Cole. As the scabs begin to fall off, I can see about a 2” area that used to be slick bald. I have looked at this area all different ways and cannot see any evidence at all that it was transplanted. The hair angles look perfect. It truly is amaz...

I was a Bosley patient in 1977. Although I followed their recommended course of surgery, I was never fully satisfied with the result. It looked like a hair transplant, and people often noticed I had a hair transplant. The optimal hair density peaked when I was in my late 20's. My hair loss eventuall...
