I know I'm supposed to take it at the same time every day, but have studies been done to see when it works best?

I read the recent clinical trials that have been posted here, and the best results were achieved for the test subjects who took 2.5mg of Avodart per day. That would be five .5mg softgel capsules per day. At $3 per pill, it would cost $15 per day :shock: . Does anyone actually take that much per day....

Do I replace the 1.25mg tablet of Proscar with one 0.5mg softgel capsule Avodart?

Here's what I use now: Proscar - 1.25mg once per day (been on for about 8 years) Rogaine twice a day (been on for about 9 years) HairMax LaserComb 3 times a week (been using about 2 months) HairCycle shampoo and conditioner daily (been using about 1 month) Should I add Nizoral 1% or 2% to the mix? I've also had several procedures. My scalp always looked pink and even got infected a few times after my surgeries.
