Fit lock is right. You seem to be a good candidate. You want to lower the peak (1 inch) more than the middle front (1/2 inch). It seems you are looking a curve shape in your hairline in state of a V shape. definitely,a consultation with Doc will be efficient to discuss those issues. Usually a case li...

Snoopey, you have noticed that this patient is a class 6 in the Norwood scale , moving naturally to a class 7.In those cases, we always advise patients to focus their work in FRONT AND TOP and to avoid the crown because with the natural or existing donor supply it is impossible to finish all the wor...

I am happy for you. You will see new hairs coming out and existing hairs(grafts) becoming longer(about 1 inch per month). This combo will give an illusion of more coverage. With the number of grafts you received in your first session, I suspect you are averaging a density of 30 to 40 FU per square cm...

Good pictures.
I am waiting to see the result in January(6 months post-op).
Do you know if the patient is taking propecia or rogaine?
I remember ,this patient was very cool and I wish him the best.I will be happy to see him again in one year for the next step in our journey.

This is a good result. As We noticed 1500 grafts in the first third portion of the head (about 40 square cm on average) give you a density of about 35 plus FU per square cm. This is a very good jump in terms of coverage for this patient. And as he is happy and he is convinced that the procedure work,...

:) Very interesting!!! Fit ,I liked the criss cross effect of leaves... As we noticed ,dense packing is not synonyme of full coverage effect. There is many other factors as hair caliber, criss cross effect,... A little observation:it is very difficult (or let say I don't see the reason ) to conduct a ...

a typical density is about 100 fu per square cm.
In a class 6 or 7 , your bald area vary from 180 square cm to 250 square cm.
Usually after HT we leave around 50 to 100 square cm wthout coverage and we concentrate in the frontal zone and top which are the area that are exposed to others.

8) 1)It's hard to predict your final stage. There is some parameters we followed.Your current status in comparison with the statistics out there. We noticed that the sooner you start to loose hairs the bigger bald spot you will end up with. The second criteria is your family hair loss pattern. And then ...

I agreed with Dr Cole. This morning I was checking the density on top of one of our patient and he had 60 follicular unit per sq cm.This is usually what we target to have a good illusion of coverage.Unfortunately, he was thin and looks bald and he wants a hair transplant surgery . Black African Amer...

how many grafts in one day with FIT?

I read a lot of world records in this subject (>3000 grafts in one session while working all nigth long). In our clinic we have done 2000 grafts in one day session. It took at that time 14 to 15 h.Today we can average in harvesting graft around 300 per hour.In a 10 to 12 h set time , we can perform b...

6 months is not advisable to do a second procedure. Because you just have approximately 50 to 60 % growing hairs for the previous procedure. Usually this period is a perfect time to do your first assessment about a procedure in terms of growth. At that time we can predict the future and make a plan ....

I will recommend using Rogaine or any type of drugs three to four days after the surgery to give time to the recipient area to heal. How long should I wait before I get a hair cut. I was wanting to buzz my entire head so that it all blends in with the newly implanted grafts Usually u can shave or bu...

Can anyone tell me if they had the FIT procedure done on their hairline in front. My friend has had 5000 grafts done on his hair with the STRIP method and he said you will need to go in at least 2 or 3 times to make it look natural. The reason for this is you can only pack the hairs together so clos...

In your case I will shave an area of 16 cm length and 1 cm wide. It's true that we harvest 1fu out of 4(which thin the donor area for 25%). In average the donor area has a density between 80 and 100 FU.If I'm decreasing my donor area for 25% i will end up with 75 FU per squarre cm;I assure you it wi...
