Sounds like everything went great! I was just wondering what type of stitches were used? You said they fell out, does this mean sutures are used as opposed to staples?

Cheers DaveOne , much appreciated! Did you drive to the procedure? I'm going to be flying in so will be carless for the few days I'm there. Ideally I'll probably stay around the North Point Mall in order to pass the time for the few days after until I fly home. So what time did the surgery start in ...

Damien/Michelle,

I tried e-mailing my photos as you requested Damien but they were just bounced back to my e-mail account. The file was pretty large at 10MB so that might be the reason why.

Any ideas?

Hi Michelle,

I've had a slight change in plans at work and I should be able to phone you within a few days or alternatively next week if thats ok? Just wondering what the best time to phone would be? Thanks

Unfortunately I'm on the road at the moment with work so I can get access to a computer but not to a phone for long distance calls. Maybe we could have a wee chat through MSN Messenger or something, failing that I'll have to wait till I get home. Thanks again.

Thanks Michelle, Thats what I thought, full 'popping' so to speak by month 8 with further growth after that. Can an Ht be performed at this stage or is it better to wait till the grafts have grown out? Ultimately I would prefer the shaved patched method a) because of my strip scar and b) because of ...

Michelle, So is 12 months the absolute minimum? I thought all grafts would have popped by about months 7-8 so it would just be growth and maturing after that period? I see a lot of people about the forums who get another procedure in the same area from about months 6-10. As for shaving down, IF I wa...

Thanks Michelle, it would be a bit off both - i.e. bring the hairline forward slightly in an area of no hair and dens up the rest a bit. So for this would 7 months be too early? Can Dr Cole see the areas where hairs haven't popped yet (i.e. under high magnification can he see the lateral slits that ...

My first Ht was strip - shocking job by the nobel clinic UK, then I got a combo repair of strip (scar revision) and FUE. I probably need about another 500 or so grafts and was just wondering at what period after my initial repair this should be conducted?

A few questions........

Just wanted to ask a quick question. What sort of time period do you recommend waiting until re-grafting an area? Basically, my situation is I had one bad Ht and had some repair work done 5 months ago or so. Obviously at the moment I'm waiting for growth and expect things to move forward in the upco...

Cheers guys, I think I'll try EOD for a wee while and see what happens. If that still doesn't work then I'll drop it back to maybe 2x week, maybe add Spiro and although it won't do as good a job as Fin every day hopefully it will still have some effect. I'll continue using Minox and Nizoral as well,...

Fin sides - what should I do?

Hey guys, just wanted to ask for some advice regarding Fin. Been on it for about 9/10 weeks and experienced some libido problems from about 2 weeks in. Thats been coupled with slight pain down in that region. Therefore I reduced my dose to every other day and things haven't improved (to be honest, t...

No probs forhair thats what I thought - had a quick thought that Dr Cole was veering towards some ultra mega dense packing!!!! I guess one of the biggest issues with HT is there is no 'one size fits all' number of grafts. The same number of grafts on two different people with exactly the same amount...

Geezy peeps, up to 5000 for a Norwood 2!? I know it is dependent on hair characteristics etc but 5000 grafts for someone with little hairloss (I know I've not seen photos but a Norwood 2 doesn't seem too extreme).

In rough terms I thought 5000 grafts was more Norwood 5 territory?

I was meaning Jotronics appearance after the first HT pass of about 2400 grafts with the shaved down look - I think it was about 5 weeks post op first Ht. My post wasn't angled towards full restoration, it was towards the less is more approach that he had after one pass. In Jotronics own words he wa...
