To Eurostar: I chose FIT because it is is much less traumatic than strip. Remember, with FIT they remove each graft individually from the donor area and then place it on the scalp. With strip they are chopping out a section of skin and then removing the grafts from the section. FIT is much easier an...

Yes I do look much younger. The reaction of friends and family has been totally positive. For example, women that I did not tell about the HT, have said that my hair looks great or "you're growing your hair - it looks very nice". Those - the few -that I have told about the HT think that the results ...

Yes, Relax. The growth will come.

I'm 8 months after my proc. (6,102 including 967 BHT to the crown). Hairs are slowly, very slowly starting to come through in the crown.

FIT Photos Forum _ FIT Photos Only

This Forum should be strictly for photos of those who have had FIT procedures. Surely that is the purpose of this Forum??

Those who have had Strip should post their Strip photos in another Forum!!

Words Missing?

'This increase is significant to not using the Anagenix. The significance is that on average we see that under normal variables, the healling times are twice that of the times seen with the usage of Anagenix.' Are there some words missing? Like in first sentence ..."compared" and in the second shoul...

Scalp Laxity

Could somebody please advise as to why laxity is important with a HT?

Does it make a difference if it is a strip or a FIT procedure? :?:

Stop Minox 10 Days before HT or 48 hours before

'Stop using Minoxidil Rogaine 10 days prior to procedure''

The above is a quote from the pre-surgery instructions I have recd. from Dr.Coles office. Could you please clarify whether it is 10 days or 48 hours.

Thanks

NW Expectations

I will be receiving 4,500 FIT grafts in a few months. The plan is to get 4,000 on the front and top and 500 at the crown to, as Dr.Cole says, kick-start that area. What expectations in terms of coverage and density should I have? I would mention that I have no intention of returning for further proc...

I am a NW6 and plan to have 5/6 sessions over a week or so (one day after another) making a total of 4,500/5,000 grafts. My logic is that it will be very clear to the doctor what my situation is, no issues of shock loss and i might as well get as much done this year as possible. Life is too short.

Quality of Life Post HT?

I would appreciate advice from those who have had HT's (FIT) on how the quality of their lives changed post their HT.

I am a NW6 and have scheduled a HT with Dr. Cole for later in the year.
