I've seen HairCycle accelerate hair growth. Some people say taking supplements like MSM, gelatin, etc. can also help.

Body Hairs in Various Growth Cycles

Here are some pictures of body hair grafts in various stages of the growing cycle. The first is a two-hair graft from the leg. One hair is longer and has visible bulb and sheath; this is anagen. The other hair is shorter, the bulb is barely visible, and the sheath is much closer to the epidermis (sc...

2 and 6 month pictures 3,000 graft strip

Here are the results of a 3,000 graft strip session with a patient in Dec. He came back in February, less than 2 months post op. His scalp was pink and not much growth was visible. Now, 6 months post op, he has great results all over the frontal third. I remember combing his hair during the surgery....

Coverage is a funny thing. The scalp is round, so it can be seen at many angles. Unfortunately, a picture can give you only one view from one angle. There are many factors: hair style, hair length, lighting, blurry pictures, even hair color can affect how much coverage is seen. Do your best to educa...

Hi! Of course, everything is on a case by case basis and not much is known about the nature and cause of shock loss, but here are some guidelines. Shock loss usually shows up as soon as 2 weeks or as late as 2 months or so after surgery. Give the hairs at least 3 months to start growing back and a f...

One of the other applications of BHT is that we can replace each graft taken out of the scalp with a body hair graft. This way the donor area is "replenished".

It typically takes 12 months to see full growth. The only other thing I can think of for you to try is maybe Hair Cycle shampoo. It has anagen stimulators to encourage the hair to be in growing phase as opposed to resting phase. It also has cell proliferants to encourage cells near the bulb to divid...

How swirly is YOUR crown?

The picture on the left is before surgery with Dr. Cole, and the picture on the right is 16 days after an FIT scar repair procedure. The scars have much improved. Now this patient can wear his hair just about as short as he would like. Dr. Cole grafted into the donor area scars, the Y-shaped scalp r...

Hi, There is so much info out there that it is hard to dissect out the useful stuff. The first procedure you talked about is referred as a strip. Strip procedures will leave you with a scar across the back of your head. Sometimes the scar results are good and easily hidden, and sometimes they are no...

hi!
there are several options for you so far as concealing surgery.
how long do you usually wear your hair?
However, as a trainer, you need to be careful about exercise and lifting after surgery.

Nice Healing Less than 1 month post-op

Here is a picture of a patient before (on the left) with a tentative hairline plan drawn in. On the right is his picture less than one month after his surgery with Dr. Cole.
